IIM Indore’s two FPM Participants- Rashmi Shukla and Prasenjit Chakrabarti received the best paper awards at the 15th Consortium of Students in Management Research (COSMAR15) conference, organized by Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore on November 24-25, 2015. COSMAR, an annual Research Consortium, is a forum for interaction between research scholars who specialize in different areas of management and related disciplines.
COSMAR15 received entries from the top B-Schools across the nation and selected the best three papers among the presented papers. Acceptance rate for the COSMAR15 was a little above 35% of the received papers.
‘Determinants of Corporate Saving in India’ authored by Rashmi Shukla was awarded the ‘Best Paper – First Prize’ and ‘The Return-Implied Volatility Relationship: Empirical Evidence from Nifty and India VIX’ authored by Prasenjit Chakrabarti was awarded the ‘Best Paper – Second Prize’.
Research papers were invited by doctoral students across the research areas of Analytics, Business Ethics and Law, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, HRM, Innovation, Marketing, Organization Behavior, Operations Management, Operation Research, Psychology, Quantitative Methods, Sociology, Strategy, and Systems.
