Tanmoy Kundu is a faculty in Operations Management and Quantitative Techniques area. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Business Administration at the National Taiwan University. During his doctoral studies, he received the Fellowship for the Outstanding International Doctoral Student and the prestigious Ph.D. thesis writing grant from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of Taiwan. He held faculty positions at IIM Bodh Gaya, IIT Jodhpur and IMI New Delhi. He has also worked with The Logistics Institute - Asia Pacific at the National University of Singapore, leading and managing industrial research and consultancy projects related to logistics and transportation.
His ongoing research focuses on a variety of topics, including Ecommerce Logistics, Multi-Modal Transportation Systems, Humanitarian Logistics, Intelligent Logistics, Platform operations and Sustainable Supply Chain Management. His research methods involve the application of Game Theory, Network Optimization, and Complex Networks. His teaching interests are in Logistics Management, Game Theory, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Systems Planning, Operations Management, Digital Platform Operations and New Venture Operations.
Beyond his academic pursuits, he possesses entrepreneurial acumen and has ventured into business both in India and Taiwan.
