Academic Associate – Mumbai Office
Academic Associates are required at the Mumbai campus of IIM Indore located in 702, Hiranandani Knowledge Park – Hiranandani Gardens. Powai, Mumbai – 400 076
Online applications are invited for the positions of Academic Associate in the following groups of areas:
- Finance & Accounting, Economics
- Operations Management and Quantitative Techniques, Information Systems
- Marketing, Strategic Management
- Organizational Behavior & Human Resource Management
Candidates may have to assist the faculty in more than one area depending on the requirement.
Function
Academic Associates (AAs) shall assist the faculty in preparing course outline, identifying and collecting reading materials (from libraries and other sources), developing teaching notes, grading of class participation, grading of quizzes, examinations, assignments, invigilation etc. They shall also be responsible for coordinating with programme offices for arranging for exams/quizzes, distribution of course materials and perform any other related activities of the Institute. AAs shall assist the faculty in their research work also.
Qualifications & Experience
- First class in BE / B. Tech / Four-year undergraduate programme. ACA or other professional qualifications without an undergraduate degree with or without experience
or
- First class in post-graduate / M. Tech / M. Phil / integrated 5 years programme / ACA or other professional qualifications with an undergraduate degree with or without experience or
- PhD with or without experience or
Stipend
Academic Associates will be given a stipend of ? 36,500/- to ? 47,500/- per month depending on qualification, experience, merit, and performance in the interview/test.
The Institute would support AAs for attending one national conference in a year, provided his/her paper is accepted for presentation in the conference. He / She shall be reimbursed to and for 3rd AC fare, fees, boarding and lodging as per the eligibility criteria of the Institute.
An amount of ?16,666/- will be reimbursed per annum towards purchase of new laptop after one year of joining the institute.
Age
Below 32 years (Preferably be below 30 years of age). However, for PhD candidates/Candidates with relevant experience, the Age limit can be extended up to 35 Years.
Duration of Contract
Between one and three years. Appointments will be made purely on contract basis for a period of one year initially and renewable annually up to a maximum of three years based on performance. The annual increase in the stipend would be based on a performance review.
