Prof. Saurabh Chandra is a Professor in Operations Management and Quantitative Techniques at the Indian Institute of Management Indore. He has completed his FPM degree from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. Before his doctoral studies, he worked as an Engineer in the maritime shipping industry and rose to the rank of Chief Engineer working on various projects. His core strengths are strategic and tactical analysis of planning and scheduling problems in organizations using mathematical programming and simulation. He is a co-founder of the Maritime Logistics Research Group at IIM Indore. He has co-authored several case studies and research papers on the application of process analysis in supply chain management. His consulting interests include process improvement studies in various organizations.
