IIM Indore’s student-run initiative i-Help conducted its Annual Cultural Day at IIM Indore on August 06, 2022. After two long years of online operations by i-Help, the absence of wonderful offline times with the kids taught was experienced by both. More than 100 students from the Umariya Government School came to the IIM Indore campus on this occasion.
The event saw mesmerizing cultural dance and song performances. The children also loved the beautiful song performance by Amplif-i, the Music SIG of IPM, and a dance act by Impulse, the Dance SIG.
Organized in association with TEDx IIM Indore Chapter, the event also provided a platform for the students to listen to the TED talk by Ms. Navika Kumar, Group Editor, Times Network, and Col. Gururaj Gopinath Pamidi (Retd.), CAO, IIM Indore. Col. Pamidi also felicitated the NMMS Scholars of 2020 and 2021 with mementos and congratulated them on their achievement.
The awardees were as follows:
NMMS 2020 Scholars – Saniya Rina Ramvilas, Payal Umashankar, Sonal Subash, and Kajal Vijay.
NMMS 2021 Scholars – Raj, Harshita, Monika, Janvi, and Kushmi.
The Cultural Day was filled with loads of fun for the kids, and at the end of the day, the volunteers and team members of i-Help, and the Umariya students were left with joyful memories.
