The primary aim of this collaboration is to establish a joint effort between distinguished educational institutions, encompassing both public and private entities, to facilitate and administer training programmes within COSA-II at SSR GSP premises. This will help bridge the gap between traditional academic learning and the practical skills demanded by industries. Through certified training programmes meticulously crafted by IIM Indore, this initiative promises to equip the youth with industry-relevant skills, enhancing their employability and catalyzing their integration into the dynamic job market.
Mr. Manu Srivastava said, “IIM Indore will open its centre GSP at Bhopal, and this collaboration will benefit thousands of youths and working professionals of the state by getting trained by renowned experts and faculty members”. The objective of CoE is to impart training on advanced technologies and management modules to the youths of Madhya Pradesh and make them industry-ready and competitive, he added.
IIM Indore, in collaboration with GSP, will work on a curriculum design that enhances students’ readiness for diverse industry domains. By emphasizing hands-on experience, module evaluations, and industry internships, these courses will ensure that students receive comprehensive certification that signifies their preparedness for the competitive global market. These courses will be designed across three distinct models: in-person training courses, blended training programmes, and asynchronous courses enabling participants to learn at their own pace. Faculty and coordinator support from the CoE will facilitate the administration of these courses, ensuring a comprehensive and varied learning experience for aspiring individuals seeking skill enhancement and career readiness.
The SSR GSP and MPSDP will function as facilitators, extending support in terms of infrastructure, essential capital funding, and cutting-edge technology. Simultaneously, IIM Indore will assume responsibility for establishing and managing the CoE within COSA-II, ensuring its sustainable operational functionality.
