IPBA Batch 3 and 4 Conclude at IIM Indore

The valedictory function of the Integrated Programme in Business Analytics (IPBA Batches 3 & 4) took place at IIM Indore on March 13, 2021. The event took place in the presence of Professor Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore; Professor Pritam Ranjan, Faculty Coordinator, IPBA; Professor Prashant Salwan, Chair-Executive Education and Mr. Kamal Das, Vice President-Operations, Jigsaw Academy.

Congratulating the graduating batches, Professor Rai said that with this programme, the batch is not just gaining knowledge about IPBA, but also entering into a new world – a world of Integrity, Purpose, Boldness and Accountability. ‘To me, corruption is perversion of integrity. If you are not doing the best of what you are supposed to do with the best of your ability—you are corrupt. Integrity isn’t merely about saying or doing what you say. It is about the fact that whatever you say, whatever you do and whatever you think need to be in consonant—to create a world which is just and prosperous’, he said. He noted that one needs to find the purpose of their life, be passionate about it and get a sense of fulfilment. ‘Achievement without fulfilment is meaningless. Purpose gives you your identity and helps you find your objective of the life’, he explained. He said that one should be bold against the fear of losing money and the greed of money; the self-defeating belief of why you are not good enough; and the fear of trying something new—since one doesn’t become a failure if he or she fails, but becomes a failure when he or she stops trying. He encouraged the new batch to be accountable—accountable for their own life, life and actions.
