Message from the Chairperson EPGP
The Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) of the Indian Institute of Management Indore is an intensive one-year, full-time residential MBA program for experienced professionals. This programme aims to produce contextually relevant managers and leaders with exposure to world-class management education. EPGP is spread over five terms, with one term dedicated to international immersion. The international immersion provides exposure to international management practices and improves adaptability for future work in cross-cultural settings.
EPGP is designed to impart leadership qualities and analytical abilities to excel in the current business environment. It aims to hone the participants’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes through its bouquet of courses utilizing a unique blend of discussions, case studies, simulations, experiential learning, international immersion, creativity, innovation, entrepreneurial orientation, and social sensitivity. The programme has a prudent mix of core and elective courses to ground participants in the basic disciplines of management and to be ready to learn and adapt to the dynamic national and international environment. The programme prepares them to work in diverse and diversified organizations and be sensitive to social needs.
The diverse composition of the participants with a wide range of experience in different sectors and roles is a cornerstone for rich in-class learning as well as peer-to-peer learning for all the participants. The bright cohort of EPGP engages in many academic and extracurricular activities for inclusive and all-round development. They regularly interact with industry practitioners to understand the dynamics and complexities of organizations and businesses and better align their learning experiences with the offerings in EPGP.
I feel glad and confident that the EPGP will achieve greater heights by being a stepping stone for building world-class, socially conscious leaders. These leaders with a global outlook will contribute to nation-building.
