Prof. Rai noted that with the upcoming calendar enriched with global events, IIM Indore is poised to further consolidate its standing among the world’s leading institutions. He highlighted the institute’s recent accomplishments with pride, including:
- 69th globally in the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2025
- 4th Best Indian B-School in the world in the QS Global MBA Rankings 2025
- Among the Top 40 institutions globally on the LinkedIn MBA list
He remarked that such recognitions are not merely accolades, but affirmations of the collective vision, effort, and aspiration that define IIM Indore’s legacy.
A highlight of the day was the felicitation of faculty and staff for their outstanding contributions. The Best Teacher Award for 2024 was conferred upon Prof. Prashant Salwan in recognition of his exceptional dedication to teaching and his ability to inspire students. The celebrations also included special recognition for pedagogical excellence. Prof. Ganesh Nidugala received the Best Case Award for his case titled ‘Indian Rupee Crisis of 2013’. The Best Teaching Innovation Award was conferred upon Prof. Sanjeev Tripathi for pioneering innovative approaches in classroom pedagogy that enhance student engagement and learning impact.

The coming months will see IIM Indore emerge as a dynamic hub of global engagement and intellectual discourse. The institute will host:
- International Partners’ Day, a platform for institutions across the world to come together in a spirit of collaboration, shared purpose, and trust.
- Sport and Business Conference 2.0 on 9–10 October, exploring the theme “Is India Ready to Host the 2036 Olympics?”: a timely reflection on national ambition, infrastructure, and collective imagination.
- The 18th All India Conference of China Studies from 24–26 October, examining “Rewiring Globalization: The China Factor in Trade, Technology, and Sustainability in a Multipolar World.”
- The landmark 18th Eduniversal World Convention, reiterating IIM Indore’s leadership and intent-driven excellence on the global stage.
The 29th Foundation Day not only celebrated the institute’s rich legacy but also reaffirmed its enduring commitment to shaping leaders who are socially conscious, ethically grounded, and equipped to create meaningful impact.
