Arena - Gaming Club

Welcome to the world of Gaming, where fortunes change in a split of a second and reputations are made for a lifetime. Arena provides the right platform for both amateur and professional gamers to showcase their gaming talent. We give all gamers and non- gamers the opportunity to battle for glory in various simulated landscapes where only the fittest manage to survive in the end.

Games of all genre including single player games (FIFA 2011, DOTA 1v1, NFS) and multi-player games (Counterstrike-1.6, Defence of the Ancients 5v5, Age of Empires -II, Call of Duty 4) are conducted during intra-college gaming nights throughout the year. Arena also plays an active part in organizing and conducting inter-college games during MRIDANG, the annual cultural festival of IIM-Indore.

We in Arena believe games induce decision making and tech players to think on their feet. Games create team players and hone their social skills too and gamers are known to enhance creativity and inculcate a taste for graphics, design and technology. Many games improve language and math skills as players have to move at a great speed along with the heroes of the game. Video and computer games help children gain self-confidence and many games are based on history, city building, and governance and so on. Such games indirectly teach children about aspects of life on earth.
