ANVESHAN, the Centre of Excellence (CoE) at IIM Indore is established to provide best-in-class leadership and administrative training concerning SBM 2.0. ANVESHAN will design and implement training and development programs/refresher courses for the senior officials working at national, state, and urban local bodies and the political leadership at the city level to manage sanitation and waste management initiatives across Urban India. ANVESHAN aims to serve as a bridge between municipal corporations and local bodies on the one side and business and service organizations on the other.
IIM Indore is looking for a seasoned candidate for the position of Coordinator at the ANVESHAN.
Position: Coordinator
The incumbent, reporting to the Director IIM Indore, will be responsible for managing and supervising all stages of the program, from strategic planning to implementation to delivering the results.
Key Job Functions
- Monitoring, managing, and meeting program implementation performance indicators
- Manages the budget of the CoE program by monitoring trends, operating expenses, resources, payroll, and related costs to achieve program objectives

- Partners with Industry Leaders and Collaborates with leadership to achieve program objectives and mitigate performance issues
- Establishes partnerships with leading corporations and service organizations
- Manages talent attraction, recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process
- Creates opportunities around the engagement of multiple stakeholders and cultivates a high-performance ecosystem
- Identifies the ways to facilitate the broader discussion on activities, programs, and developments in WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene)
Desired Candidate Profile
- Master’s Degree from a premier institution and a minimum of fifteen years experience leading and developing teams, preferably in WASH
- At least five years experience in a leadership role, preferably in WASH
- Educational/work experience in public policy and urban governance will be preferred
- Candidates with work experience with big consulting firms will be preferred
- Experience within a global organization is desirable
- Excellent communication skills and Strong analytical skills
