Applications are invited for the post of Deputy General Manager (Rankings, Accreditations and Internationalization) to be deputed in IIM Indore.

About Rankings, Accreditations and Internationalisation office at IIM Indore

The office is responsible for coordinating all ranking surveys in which IIM Indore participates. IIM Indore is the second institute in India to be triple crowned as having accreditations from AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS. The job of the office is to meet the institute-wise requirements for keeping the accreditations in force. The job involves coordinating with the Dean (Programme) office for program-level issues and the Dean (Faculty) for faculty sufficiency and qualification requirements. IIM Indore also has partnerships with institutes across 24 countries. The office is required to manage the MOU and facilitate all associated activities required.

Applications are invited for the position of Deputy General Manager for the Ranking, accreditations, and Internationalization office. The minimum qualification, experience, and other general terms and conditions are given here under:

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordination of all Ranking Surveys, maintaining all Accreditations and handling issues related to international relations and cooperation including student exchange.
  • Assist the Associate Dean (RAINT) for document preparation for accreditation, holding discussion with partner institutes, and participating in associated events.
  • Build relationships with accreditation, ranking agencies and partner institutes.
  • Developing new partnerships with foreign institutes.
  • Keeping institute wide parameters needed for accreditations and rankings.

 Qualification and Work Experience:

A degree from a reputed University with at least 12 years of experience, preferable in corporate communications or journalism. Should have knowledge about key management areas (Marketing, HR, Finance, Operations, Strategy, etc.).  Should possess excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. The incumbent should be ready to travel nationally and internationally in case of need.

Age:

Below 45 years as of the date of application.

Desirable:

Good speaking and writing proficiency in English.

Salary & Allowances

The selected candidate will be deputed in IIM Indore on a fixed-term contract for a period of two years on a consolidated monthly pay package subject to satisfactory performance, which will be reviewed on an annual basis. Salary will not be a constraint for the deserving candidate. The selected candidate would be evaluated after three months of joining and would be able to complete first year in the Institute only if the performance is found satisfactory at the end of three months.

Interview and Selection:

The selection will be based on an interview of the shortlisted candidates. The date, time and place of interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates only through email.

  1. Interested and eligible candidates are requested to send their application in the Prescribed Format along with scanned copies of Qualification Certificates (One PDF file for all qualifications certificates starting from class 10th as Annexure-1), Experience Certificates (One PDF file for all Experience certificates as Annexure-2) and Category/PwD certificate if applicable (One PDF file for Category and PwD certificates as Annexure-3) via email at career@iimidr.ac.in with super scribed subject as “Application For The Post of Deputy General Manager (RAINT)” on or before January 30, 2025.
  2. Applications received after January 30, 2025, will not be entertained.
  3. Application without Prescribed Format and Annexures, as mentioned in point no.1 above, will not be considered. The application is only to be sent through email to career@iimidr.ac.in. No other mode of application will be accepted.
  4. Mere fulfilling the minimum qualification and experience requirements will not confer any right on the candidates for being called for an Interview or/and their selection.
  5. Candidates who are not found suitable for the position may be considered for a lower position, on a lower pay scale, or an appropriate consolidated salary.
  6. The Institute reserves the right not to select anyone without assigning any reason.
  7. The Institute reserves the right to change/apply appropriate shortlisting criteria in case of many applications.
  8. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
  9. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
  10. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
  11. An incomplete application without proper supporting documents will be summarily rejected.
  12. The Institute requires the selected candidates to join immediately.
  13. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test or/and Interview or/and selection process.
  14. The decision of IIM Indore would be final and binding to the candidates.
  15. In case of any dispute concerning this recruitment, the jurisdiction of the competent courts will be within the territorial jurisdiction of the city of Indore only.
