    Key Responsibility Areas of Emergency Medical Officer

  • To ensure highest standards of patient care for all patients attending to the Institute’s Medical Centre.
  • On call night duty (06 days a week) and to provide emergency medical services to the IIMI community members.
  • To be available on call within the campus in such a manner as to reach the Medical
    Centre or designated place within the campus within 10 minutes of the call.
  • Assessment of patient’s condition, maintaining clinical notes and taking the necessary actions and to prescribe medicines as needed.
  • Perform urgent medical services like stabilization, assessment and diagnosis and/or immediate resuscitation when necessary and perform treatment and referral to a
    specialist if necessary.
  • Establish and maintain teamwork and cooperation with other healthcare providers to ensure patients will receive maximum benefit from coordinated care.
  • Keep the Hostel Office and CAO informed about any health-related issues of students on campus and also inform CAO then if a community member is referred to a hospital.

Qualification and Experience

MBBS recognized by MCI.

  • A minimum of 02 years of clinical experience.
  • A registered medical practitioner.

Age & Criteria

  • Age < 65 years as on October 10, 2022.
  • On-campus stay.

Salary & Allowances

  • Salary will not be a constraint for the deserving candidate. The selected candidate will be offered fixed-term contract for a period of one year and extendable one year at a time for a
    maximum period of three years on a consolidated monthly pay package subject to satisfactory performance which will be reviewed on an annual basis.

  1. Interested and eligible candidates are encouraged to appear for the walk-in interview on October 10, 2022, at 3.00 pm. onwards. The venue of the interview is 1 st floor, Administrative Building, Prabandh Shikhar, Indian Institute of Management Indore, Rau-Pithampur Road, Indore – 453556.

  3. The candidates willing to appear in the interview are requested to go through the advertisement thoroughly and ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria.
  4.  No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for attending the walk in interview.
  5.  The candidates are requested to bring their latest Resume with all educational and experience certificates (in original &amp; one set of photocopies) on the aforesaid date &amp; time along with the original photo identity issued (preferably AADHAAR) by the Government of India.
  6.  This is purely a contractual appointment for the period of 3 years with annual renewal based on the performance review.
  7.  Mere fulfilling of the qualifications and experience will not confer any right to the candidates for being selected.
  8.  Higher consolidated salary may be considered in case of exceptionally deserving candidates. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
  9.  Candidates not found suitable for the position may be considered for a lower position or on an appropriate consolidated salary.
  10.  The Institute reserves the right not to select anyone without assigning any reason.
