Dr. Amitabh Deo Kodwani is a faculty in the Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management area. He has over 17 years of rich experience in industry and academia. Prior to joining IIM Indore, he has been a faculty member at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak, Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Ghaziabad, ICFAI Business School (IBS Hyderabad).
He has published in various journals of national and international repute such as Emerald, Inderscience, Sage Publication, Singapore Management Review, South Asian Journal of Management (SAJM), etc. He has also co-authored a book with Raymond Noe, titled “Employee Training and Development”, Tata McGraw Hills Publication. He has presented papers and case studies in various international & national conferences of repute in India and abroad.
As a visiting faculty, he has taught in the flagship programs S P Jain School of Global Management Dubai, Department of Management, University of Warsaw, Poland.
He has taught in several Management Development Programmes for executives from the private & public sector Organizations like Oracle India, Satyam, Infotech, Kirloskar group companies, Wipro, Tata group companies, Jindal Vjay Nagar Steels, Sangam Health Care, Blue Dart, Innova Solutions, etc.
His teaching interest includes Human Resource Management, Training and Development, Talent Acquisition, Labour Laws, etc.
His areas of research interest include Cultural Intelligence, Organizational Commitment, Engagement, Industrial Relations in India, Training and Development, etc.
