Karthikeya Naraparaju has done his PhD from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai, India. His doctoral dissertation, titled ‘Essays on Labour Markets and Inclusive Growth in India’, looks at the inclusive nature of the recent economic growth in India and its interaction with labour market outcomes.
Karthikeya holds a M.Sc. in Economics from IGIDR and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Economics from Sri Sathya Sai University, Prashanthi Nilayam, Andhra Pradesh, India. Before joining the doctoral programme, he has worked at Deloitte Touché Tohmatsu (India) Pvt. Ltd.
His research interests include Development Economics, Welfare Economics, and Institutional Economics. His teaching interests are Microeconomics, Development Economics, and Welfare Economics.
