Overview

The subject content consists of structuring various business models, analysis, and interpretation of their computer solutions to deal with various real-life decision-making situations. The main emphasis of this programme is to deliver necessary model-building knowledge, business analysis, computer solutions analysis, and understanding their relevance in practical situations. Various real-life applications and cases will be used to describe model analysis and understanding. Applications will be presented with specific computer illustrations.

LP application on Production Management, LP application on Marketing Management, LP application on Financial Management, LP application on General Management.

Module 2: Transportation Model and its Variations.

Transportation Model application, Transhipment Model application, Production Inventory Control Problem application.

Module 3: Decision Analysis

Decision making without probabilities, Decision Making with probabilities. Decision Making with Perfect Information, Decision Making with Sample Information.
