Atharv: the spirit of competition and excellence continues on Day 02

The second day of IIM Indore IPM’s Annual Cultural, Management, and Literary Fest – Atharv, was full of excitement and enthusiasm. Debate teams were huddled together, deciding their argument, while just outside, a dancing entourage practiced for their finals. One could see the case study participants preparing their presentation by nodding their heads to the beats of the bands that were preparing for their performance. The IIM Indore campus had become a talent, hard work, and passion hub.

Day 1 ended with laughter and fun after the stunning comedy performance by Mr. Aashish Solanki. Day 2 of Atharv saw maximum cultural performances.

Halla Bol: The Nukkad Natak event left everyone with a sense of awe and motivation. The participants addressed various social issues through their moving performances leaving the audience inspired. These issues included Menstrual Stigma, Old Age, Domestic Violence Against Men, Over Consumption of Resources, Water Availability, etc.

Verve: The Group Dance event witnessed enormously graceful and energetic performances by the dancers, who created an atmosphere of excitement and thrill.

Crescendo: The Acoustic event had participants from all across India who gave musical performances. Crescendo had Mr. Ishan Krishan as the judge. Delirium: The Battle of the Bands was the day’s highlight, judged by APRICOT, a Modern Rock Band. The crowd was enthralled and fascinated by the electric performances.

In the management and literary domain, the flagship event, Avant Garde: the B-Plan Event, saw huge enthusiasm from the participants who pitched their innovative ideas to the industry stalwarts. The event was judged by Mr. Shailesh Jain and Mr. Kinjalk Pancholi from Ecosystem Ventures. The first round of the most popular event, Imperium: The Strategy Case Study event, was also conducted. Colonel Pankaj Singhai, the senior program manager in Strategy at Amazon, and Prof. Punyashlok Dwibedy, who specializes in Strategic Management, judged the event.

The second day of Atharv ended on a high note with a DJ Night. SE3K performed at the Cricket stadium of the IIM Indore campus to a crowd of more than 1000 people. The DJ Night elevated Atharv and created energy and euphoria for the fest.

The fest’s third day will witness the finals of all the management, literary and cultural events conducted in the first two days. The second day of Atharv continued the spirit of competitive excellence, and the third day will be even more exciting.
