First Batch of Certificate Programme in Digital Marketing and Strategy Concludes

The first batch of the Certificate Programme in Digital Marketing and Strategy – CPDMS graduated on July 27, 2022. The valedictory function took place in the presence of Prof. Saumya Ranjan Dash, Dean – Programmes; Prof. Subin Sudhir, Chair – Executive Education and Prof. Sudipta Mandal, Programme Coordinator, CPDMS.

Prof. Sudhir congratulated the entire batch for completing the course. He noted that IIM Indore aims to offer contextually relevant courses, and this programme is yet another step towards the same. ‘We have been offering courses specially designed for the working executives, for they may not be able to attend full-time courses while working. We aim to provide the knowledge that helps the executives enhance their skills in various domains and benefits them in their day-to-day work and professional lives’, he said. He advised the participants to identify their purpose and remain persistent in achieving it. ‘Keep working hard and stay focused to achieve your goal. Ensure you remain passionate about whatever you do and be proud of everything you do’, he concluded.

Prof. Saumya Ranjan Dash noted that the executive education programmes by IIM Indore aim at the inward movement of knowledge transfer from the industry to faculty and vice-versa. ‘These programmes give the faculty and executives a platform to share their experience with each other and bring different perspectives to the table. IIM Indore aims to encourage such discussions and strengthen the industry-academia relationship’, he said. He advised the participants to utilize the knowledge gained during the course and remain connected to the faculty and peers after graduation as well. He also congratulated the family members of the graduating participants, for, without their support, the participants would not have been able to achieve this feat.

A total of 94 participants received their Certificates of Completion on this occasion. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Sudipta Mandal.
