Seventeenth Batch of PGPMX Begins at IIM Indore – Mumbai

IIM Indore welcomed the seventeenth batch of the Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives – PGPMX at the IIM Indore Mumbai Campus on July 30, 2022. The batch was inaugurated by Prof. Saumya Ranjan Dash, Dean – Programmes; and Prof. Manish Popli, Programme Chair – PGPMX, IIM Indore. With this inauguration, the 17th batch of the PGPMX became the first batch to commence at the institute’s new campus at the Hiranandani Knowledge Park.

Prof. Dash welcomed the new batch and congratulated them for starting this new journey. Sharing the institute’s mission, he noted that IIM Indore aims to offer contextually relevant and world-class academic programmes that benefit the working executives and help them strengthen their competencies. He also shared with the participants various initiatives of the institute and provided an overview of various other flagship and executive programmes.

Prof. Popli briefed the batch about the robustly designed curriculum, courses, and program layout. He mentioned that this two-year, alternate weekend course provides an opportunity for the working executives to become transformational leaders and innovative solution creators in their respective organizations, but find it difficult to pursue a full-time management programme. He discussed the opportunities offered by IIM Indore and the way forward. He encouraged participants to utilize their existing experience to enhance their understanding of management principles.
