The Indore Management Journal is published by the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, with the belief that management scholars and social scientists should integrate disciplines in an attempt to understand the complexities of contemporary management challenges.
We also believe that both researchers and practitioners can contribute by translating understanding into action, by linking theory and practice. This would enhance the relevance and thought in various related fields taking us a little outside traditional fields of management, such as sustainable development. We would like to draw special attention to our openness to such thinking as well as approaches.
This could entail working within one’s area or crossing disciplinary boundaries. As an international journal, we also invite manuscripts from all countries. We further welcome proposals for special issues from potential guest editors. These should include how the topic or theme fits in with the Indore Management Journal’s objectives. The descriptions of manuscripts (or the manuscripts themselves), along with author details should be submitted with the proposal. Indore Management Journal commenced publication in 2006 and is published twice every year.
