SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth) is a non-political, nationwide, voluntary movement that organizes programs of classical music and dance, folk arts, crafts, yoga, classic cinema screenings, heritage walks, etc. with an intention to enrich the quality of formal education by increasing awareness about different aspects of Indian heritage and inspiring the young mind to imbibe the values embedded in it.

SPIC MACAY’s lec-dem (lecture-demonstration) format presents Indian classical art forms in a comprehensive manner in front of today’s youth, which gives them an understanding of the basics of the classical art forms. It tries to do away with the misconception that classical arts are difficult to understand.

SPICMACAY chapter of IIM Indore strives to create and increase awareness about Indian Culture and Heritage amongst the students by conducting events, workshops and quizzes.
