Research Associate for National Commission for Women (NCW) funded project “Impact Assessment of 73rd and 74th Amendments in Indian Constitution: Assessing the Role of Women Representatives in PRIs & ULBs”

Responsibility: Executing field research study in North Eastern region for the project titled “Impact Assessment of 73rd and 74th Amendments in Indian Constitution: Assessing the Role of Women Representatives in PRIs & ULBs.” The studies will include the states of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. The Research Associate will be responsible for conducting field research, coordinating with stakeholders, analysing data, and report writing.

Summary of role: The Research Associate (RA) will report to coordinator (IIM Indore) of the NCW projects. Major responsibility will be developing and delivering research studies as desired by IIM Indore team. Logistic planning of the research studies on the field along with liaison with political representatives and government officers during the data collection. The RA will be based in the respective cities during data collection.

Minimum Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Social Sciences /Management with at least 60% marks from Govt. recognized Universities/Institutes. Proficiency in field research (interview, observation & survey). Candidates with working experience in Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRI) and gender studies will be preferred. Proficiency in Assamese  will be preferred.
