Advertisement for Project Positions
The Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) invites applications from eligible, motivated and qualified Indian nationals for engagement in the following project-based positions.
The appointments are purely temporary, contractual and co-terminus with the project. The positions are intended exclusively for the execution of the project and shall not confer any right for regular appointment, absorption or continuation at IIM Indore.

*The positions may be filled in a phased manner, as and when required by the project. Engagement may be discontinued before the completion of the indicated tenure by giving 15 days’ notice, based on project requirements and/or performance.
*Senior and Junior profiles are not intended to denote a hierarchical reporting structure. The reporting structure and organisation of these profiles shall be determined by the Project Manager based on project requirements.
Desirable Skills
Candidates having one or more of the following shall be preferred:
- Experience of working on Government, externally funded or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of water supply, sanitation, environmental management, infrastructure development, public health engineering or related sectors.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, MS Office, project management software, data analytics tools or other relevant engineering software.
- Strong communication, documentation, analytical and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to undertake field visits and project-related travel.
Nature of Appointment
- Purely temporary and contractual.
- Project-based and co-terminus with the project.
- Tenure may be extended subject to project requirements and satisfactory performance.
- No claim for regular employment, absorption or continuation at IIM Indore shall arise from such engagement.
Remuneration
Selected candidates shall be offered consolidated monthly remuneration commensurate with their qualifications, relevant experience, suitability for the position and project norms. Salary shall not be a constraint for exceptional candidates.
Selection Process
The selection process may include one or more of the following:
- Shortlisting based on eligibility, qualifications and relevant experience;
- Written Test / Technical Assessment, if considered necessary; and/or
- Personal Interview.
The Institute reserves the right to adopt an appropriate selection process depending upon the number and profile of applications received.
General Terms & Conditions
- These positions are purely temporary, contractual and project-specific. Appointment shall not confer any claim for regular employment or absorption in IIM Indore.
- Interested candidates shall be required to submit the prescribed Application Form along with an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV), self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates, experience certificates, wherever applicable, and other relevant supporting documents.
- Applications received after the prescribed deadline or without the required documents may not be considered.
- Mere fulfilment of the minimum eligibility criteria shall not entitle a candidate to be called for the selection process.
- The Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions, modify the eligibility criteria, cancel the recruitment process, or not fill any or all positions without assigning any reason.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the subsequent stages of the selection process.
- No correspondence regarding the recruitment process shall be entertained.
- Any form of canvassing shall lead to disqualification.
- The decision of IIM Indore shall be final and binding in all matters relating to the recruitment process.
