Dr. Aswathi Velayathikode Anand is a faculty member in the Communication area at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore. Prior to joining IIM Indore, she served as an Assistant Professor Grade II at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur.
Dr. Anand’s research interests span Ethical Communication, Leadership Communication, Corporate Storytelling, Female Resilience, and Contemporary American Fiction. She earned her Ph.D. in English from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad, where her thesis explored contemporary American fiction, women’s literature, female resilience, and the representation of Christianity, including radical Christianity, in American literature. She also completed her M.Phil. research at IIT Hyderabad and holds a Master’s degree in English from the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU). She was awarded a Certificate of Research Excellence by Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad in 2017.
Her scholarly work has been published in Scopus-indexed journals and book chapters with leading publication houses, including Critique: Studies in Contemporary Fiction (Taylor & Francis) and Routledge USA. She has presented her research at both international conferences and national seminars.
