Shivani Sharma is a faculty member in the area of Communication at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore. Prior to joining IIM Indore, she was an Assistant Professor of Communication at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur. Her research interests include Business Communication, Diversity Studies, Strategic and Sustainability Communication, Mahabharata Studies, and Intermedia Studies.
She holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar. She was awarded the Shastri Research Student Fellowship (SRSF) from Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute to pursue her research at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. She was also awarded the Charles Davis Best Graduate Student Presentation for her research paper at the 73rd Annual Convention of the Rocky Mountain Modern Language Association, University of Texas, El Paso, US. She has published her research in peer-reviewed journals and presented papers at international conferences.
