At IIM Indore, we believe that it is important for aspiring business students to gain both international exposure and international perspective. Education in a foreign country is definitely an experience of a lifetime, and every student should get such an opportunity, at least once during their academic career. It is exactly with this belief that Student Exchange Programme was instituted.
IIM Indore provides an enriching academic experience to incoming exchange students and at the same time its own student community also benefits from the fresh trains of thoughts and new ideas that the foreign students have to offer. This mutual learning experience is what we aim to foster.
IIM Indore’s Student Exchange Programme (STEP) committee works hard to ensure that incoming exchange students find their stay in India comfortable and hassle-free. In short, the committee takes overall responsibility for the experiences of students who come to IIM Indore from other countries. The committee helps out the exchange students settle on campus. STEP is a committee formed by the students and they are the best source of information for any queries exchange students might have. Over the years IIM Indore has established strong relationships with several universities and business schools around the world and the list continues to grow. Hence, IIM Indore has been very active in engaging many of its home students in exchange programmes with universities abroad. Participating in the exchange program requires a student of IIM Indore to undertake full-time study for one or two semesters at any of its international partner institutes.
