Over a period of 5 days of trekking in Gangotri National Park, Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand in the Himalayas, we explore the nuances of managerial decision-making, leadership and interpersonal dynamics in challenging situations. By moving out of our comfort zones, we challenge some long-held assumptions and develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and our thought processes. This outdoor programme will be led by management professors and experienced professionals who have summited Mount Everest and other peaks.
Contextualized in current research and delivered in the Himalayan outdoors, this programme is designed to encourage participants to push the boundaries of their self-imposed limitations with a focus on exploring and testing.
In a rapidly changing business environment, the fortunes of a firm can collapse swiftly unless addressed expeditiously by managers. This programme is designed to introduce cutting-edge management principles to participants so that they are better equipped to respond to signals from the external environment. By pushing participants beyond their comfort zones, we encourage them to explore their reliance on standard schemas even when external conditions change.
A mix of experiential learning, activities, lectures, and guided discussions.
