Photon, the photography SIG at IPM, IIM Indore, is a vibrant community of photography enthusiasts who share a passion for taking pictures and telling stories through images. Using photography as an artistic medium and a means of visual narrative, Photon provides a space for users to learn about the medium and hone their technical abilities. Every year, Photon organizes a number of events and seminars meant to encourage creativity and help photographers hone their craft. Photography members of Photon have the chance to learn from experts in the field and seasoned photographers on topics ranging from basic methods to sophisticated editing abilities. Preserving special events and memories, not only helps students learn practical skills but also makes campus life more vibrant. By promoting the sharing of work, asking for criticism, and taking part in productive debates, Photon cultivates a feeling of community and cooperation among its members. Photon, via its many programs and events, encourages and facilitates photography exploration of the globe for the IPM community.
