Atharv Ranbhoomi, the esteemed annual flagship fest of IIM Indore, organized exclusively by the students of the IPM programme reigns as the largest literary, cultural, management, and sports fest in Central India. As the only undergraduate fest across all IIMs, this three-day extravaganza promises an abundance of enthusiasm, intense competition, and top-notch entertainment. For more than a decade, Atharv Ranbhoomi has etched itself firmly in the hearts and minds of students across India, emerging as the country’s most highly anticipated college event.

What began as a mere dream and idea has burgeoned into a remarkable journey for Atharv Ranbhoomi. Over the years, the fest has played host to illustrious artists such as Aashish Solanki, Samay Raina, Zakir Khan, Rahul Subramaniam, and Biswa Kalyan for its comedy nights. It has also witnessed mesmerising performances from Vh1 Supersonic, Sunburn and Lost Stories as well as captivating musical acts by Anuv Jain, King, Neeti Mohan and Raftaar.

The last edition of the fest, marking the remarkable milestone of our 10th anniversary, stands as a testament to the immense growth and success of Atharv Ranbhoomi. As we step into Atharv Ranbhoomi’24, we carry forward this legacy of excellence and innovation, aiming not only to meet but to surpass the extraordinary milestones set by our predecessors. From the cerebral challenges of management and literary competitions to the vibrant tapestry of cultural extravaganzas, and the adrenaline-fueled arenas of sports, Atharv Ranbhoomi offers a platform for every passion and talent to shine.

Management and Literary Events:

Management and literary events at the fest pit the nation’s brightest minds against each other in fights of wit and resolve. Chaitanya, the leadership event, tests critical thinking and negotiation abilities, while HeadhunteR, the HR event, tests prioritization and people skills. Khoj, Devil’s Advocate, Vendition Vendetta, Finopoly, and E-Conjecture cover journalism, law, marketing, finance, and more, giving participants a broad and varied experience.

Cultural events :

Creative talent and amazing skills are celebrated in Atharv Ranbhoomi’s cultural front. The fest features over 10 captivating cultural activities, from the exquisite motions of Bailar, the solo dance event, to the infectious energy of Verve, the group dance event, to the soulful melodies of Crescendo. Vignette, iSO, Delirium, Halla Bol, Proscenium, and Synquizition allow participants to express their various talent and perspectives across a range of creative and intellectual undertakings, from cinematography to band performances.Atharv

Sports Events :

The three-day event features a wide range of cultural, literary, and management programs and thrilling sports competitions. From cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and chess to exciting new events like Futsal (women’s football) and women’s volleyball, the latest fest looks forward to expanding into e-sports, giving digital athletes a new platform to shine. Athletes and sportspeople from all over the country come together for this celebration of athleticism. In Atharv Ranbhoomi, you’ll showcase your athletic skills and make lasting memories.

Flagship Events:

Along with our traditional events, Atharv Ranbhoomi proudly presents its four flagship events, each a cornerstone of innovation and distinction. InterVarsity Debate, based on British Parliamentary Debate, tests participants’ intellect and rhetoric as they argue their points. Avant Garde, the B-Plan event, lets aspiring entrepreneurs evaluate their business skills with Business Ideation & Projection and Investment Analysis. Imperium, a dramatic national case competition, tests decision-making skills and emphasizes strategic approaches to ideal solutions. Finally, Delirium, the Battle of Bands, brings to life an electrifying symphony of rhythms, where instruments collide in a thrilling musical showdown.

The Pi-Quiz:

Through The Pi-Quiz (TPQ), a national talent hunt for classes IX-XII students, Atharv Ranbhoomi welcomes young champions from around the country. TPQ not only seeks out the nation’s greatest minds and their innovative ideas, but it also helps underprivileged children by organizing scholarship exams. After an intense preliminary shortlisting, quiz finalists are invited to IIM Indore to compete with national champions. Students learn IIM Indore-endorsed intellectual rigor through critical thinking and analysis.

Pre-Fest Events:

Every year, Atharv Ranbhoomi kicks off an exciting journey with a number of pre-fest events, igniting excitement and anticipation within the IPM community. The Corporate Cricket League (CCL) offer teams from different companies in the corporate world a platform to compete, fostering healthy competition and teamwork. Infusing the fest with energy and surprise, events like ‘Flashmob’ and ‘Nukkad Natak’ take to the streets of Indore, inviting a wider audience to experience the magic of Atharv Ranbhoomi through electrifying dance moves, music and street play while also delivering strong messages and promoting social change.
