Media and PR Committee
The Media and PR Committee acts as the face of the institute—it stands as the interface between the brand IIM Indore and the outside world. We are responsible for covering the various happenings on campus, making press releases and creating a footprint on social media platforms (for example Facebook, Instagram, InsideIIM, Pagalguy, etc). We managed to improve our social media footprints and our impressions per post increased by approximately 1.5 times this year. Our responsibilities include facilitating the admission process by acting as a medium of interaction between the authorities and the prospective students, creating the iMentor program which helps to successfully induct incoming students on campus, providing visiting cards, curating the annual Freshers’ newsletter and the quarterly alumni newsletter (which is done in conjunction with the Alumni Committee). We also provide the graduating batch with Yearbooks that are given to them during convocation. This year, as a new initiative we have rolled out the first “Welcome Video” for the batch of 2019-21 to give them a glimpse of the campus. The Committee plays a vital role in forming the impression on IIM Indore and offers the first reflection of various aspects of distinct life at Planet-I, the hillock that never sleeps.
