Sports Committee
Sports Committee has been instrumental in providing a platform to the student community to nurture their enthusiasm for sports. This year was no exception in this regard and we managed to bring even more people on the field. With a plethora of intra-college events ranging from Section Wars to auction-based leagues, there has been an immense growth in the sporting culture at IIM Indore. This year was particularly successful as IIM Indore emerged as the overall champions in Sprint’19, the annual sports fest of SPJIMR, Mumbai. This is the very first time that IIM Indore has managed to achieve this monumental feat in an outstation fest. Moreover, Swimming and Pool were introduced as competitive sports from this academic year onwards. The events not just witnessed a great level of participation but also helped us discover great talents in these sports. Overall, the year was marked by intense rivalry and true sportsmanship among the players, both of which helped the participants build character and imbibe discipline both on and off the field.
