Student Exchange Program Committee
IIM Indore is a world of endless opportunities, one of which is the coveted opportunity to study abroad. The Student Exchange Committee manages end-to-end one of the largest exchange programs among IIMs. The goal of the committee was focused on partner retention and improving geographic diversity. 3 new partners were added to the network, thereby expanding the reach to 200+ seats across 13 countries. Transactions totalling Rs.1.5 crore was handled by the team, facilitating easy access to Eurail, Airbnbs, air tickets, insurance, visa and forex cards through strategic partnerships. Stepcom kicked off the inaugural edition of Bon Appetit in 2017, where the denizens of Planet-I got a taste of authentic international cuisines. Namaste India, the annual dinner hosted by Stepcom for the forex students was our way of showing gratitude. Armed with the support and funding from the institute, the team designed brochures, factsheets and souvenirs to be used for publicity of the exchange program. Diverse as they may be, the people of Stepcom are united by the passion they share for the committee and the cause. New records are set and broken and it is certain that the exchange program of IIM Indore shall scale inconceivable heights in the years to come. However, there is one thing that has remained unchanged all these years and will be so going forward- the bond. For, Stepcom is family.
