Atharv Ranbhoomi, the annual flagship fest of the Indian Institute of Management Indore, is organised entirely by the students of the Integrated Programme in Management programme. Recognised as the only undergraduate fest across the IIMs, it brings together a unique confluence of literary, cultural, management, and sports events. Spanning three days, it has, over the years, grown into one of Central India’s largest college fests, drawing participation from prominent institutions across the country.
What began as a mere dream and idea has burgeoned into a remarkable journey for Atharv Ranbhoomi. The fest has hosted illustrious artists such as Aashish Solanki, Samay Raina, Zakir Khan, Rahul Subramaniam, Biswa Kalyan Rath and Jaspreet Singh for its comedy nights. It has also witnessed mesmerising performances from Vh1 Supersonic, Sunburn, Lost Stories, and DJ Tejas, as well as captivating musical acts by Anuv Jain, King, Neeti Mohan, Raftaar, Zaeden and KR$NA.
Now in its twelfth edition, Atharv Ranbhoomi continues to provide a platform for students to showcase their talents and engage in meaningful competition across diverse domains. From intellectually stimulating management and literary events to vibrant cultural performances and high-energy sports contests, the fest embodies a spirit of inclusivity and holistic development.
The previous edition marked a decade of growth and evolution, underscoring the fest’s role in fostering collaboration, creativity, and leadership among students. As Atharv Ranbhoomi enters its next chapter in 2025, it remains a reflection of the dedication and initiative of the IPM student body at IIM Indore.
Management and literary events at the fest bring together the nation’s brightest minds in battles of wit and resolve. Chaitanya, the leadership event, tests critical thinking and negotiation abilities, while Headhunter, the HR challenge, evaluates prioritisation and interpersonal skills. Khoj, Devil’s Advocate, Vendition Vendetta, Finopoly, and E-Conjecture span journalism, law, marketing, and finance, offering participants a wide-ranging and enriching experience.
Creative talent and amazing skills are celebrated in Atharv Ranbhoomi’s cultural front. The fest features over 10 captivating cultural activities, from the exquisite motions of Bailar, the solo dance event, to the infectious energy of Verve, the group dance event, to the soulful melodies of Crescendo. Vignette, iSO, Delirium, Halla Bol, Proscenium, and Synquizition allow participants to express their various talents and perspectives across a range of creative and intellectual undertakings, from cinematography to band performances.
Atharv Ranbhoomi is more than a fest—it’s a canvas where everyone may express themselves through art and talent.
The three-day event features a wide range of cultural, literary, and management programs and thrilling sports competitions. From cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and chess to exciting new events like futsal (women’s football) and women’s volleyball, the latest fest looks forward to expanding into e-sports, giving digital athletes a new platform to shine. Athletes and sportspeople from all over the country come together for this celebration of athleticism. In Atharv Ranbhoomi, you’ll showcase your athletic skills and make lasting memories.
Atharv Ranbhoomi proudly presents its four flagship events, each representing a pinnacle of excellence. InterVarsity Debate, modeled on the British parliamentary format, challenges participants’ intellect and rhetorical skill. Avant Garde, the B-Plan event, invites aspiring entrepreneurs to present their ideas through business ideation, projection, and investment analysis. Imperium, our national-level strategy case competition, tests decision-making skills and strategic thinking. Delirium, the battle of bands, offers a vibrant musical showdown filled with energy and rhythm.
Through The Pi-Quiz (TPQ), a national talent hunt divided into two pools—one for students of classes IX to XII and another for classes VI to VIII—Atharv Ranbhoomi welcomes young champions from across the country. TPQ not only seeks out some of the nation’s brightest minds and their innovative ideas but also supports underprivileged children by organising scholarship exams. After an intense preliminary round of shortlisting, quiz finalists are invited to IIM Indore to compete with national-level contenders. Through critical thinking and analytical challenges, participants are exposed to the intellectual rigor that IIM Indore upholds.
Every year, Atharv Ranbhoomi kicks off an exciting journey with a number of pre-fest events, igniting excitement and anticipation within the IPM community. The Corporate Cricket League (CCL) offers teams from different companies in the corporate world a platform to compete, fostering healthy competition and teamwork. Infusing the fest with energy and surprise, events like ‘Flashmob’ and ‘Nukkad Natak’ take to the streets of Indore, inviting a wider audience to experience the magic of Atharv Ranbhoomi through electrifying dance moves, music, and street play while also delivering strong messages and promoting social change.
As Atharv Ranbhoomi ’25 approaches, it stands as a testament to more than a decade of dedication, passion, and progress. It remains the only undergraduate fest hosted by any IIM and continues to celebrate ambition, creativity, and unity. Join us on this remarkable journey and be part of a celebration shaped by dreams, enthusiasm, and determination.
