Indian Institute of Management Indore invites applications from eligible candidates for the following position(s) on a Contract Basis under the Research Project “Grain Gains: Upscaling Milletpreneurs in Rural Odisha”.

Duration 6 Months
Educational Qualifications Essentials:

  • Any Post Graduation or equivalent from a recognised university/institute.
  • Proficiency in handling MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), SPSS and NVivo.
  • Command over oral and written English and Odia language.
  • Candidates having experience in conducting field surveys across rural Odisha are preferable
Job Profile Field Investigator will report to the Project Director and the responsibilities will include the following:

 

  • Carry out data collection from the field and conduct interviews.
  • Clean, analyse, and present data at periodic intervals.
  • Basic quantitative data analysis and qualitative data analysis.
  • Assist in other work related to the project, as required.
Monthly emoluments INR 10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand only) (Consolidated). Travel, food and accommodation allowances will be provided on reimbursement basis during data collection.

General Guidelines

  • Mere fulfilment of qualifications and experience does not entitle an applicant to be short-listed. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for the selection process to a reasonable number, based on relevant criteria, higher than the minimum prescribed. The Institute will communicate only with short-listed candidates.

  • The project work location shall be IIM Indore and field locations in Rural Odisha (as per project requirement).
  • Disputes (if any) shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts of the city of Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
