Overview

Faculty development programs (FDP) help to strengthen the professional development of the faculty members and their academic carrier. Financial Management: Teaching and Research Perspective is an intensive four days FDP to enhance research and teaching capabilities of finance faculty members of management education in India. This FDP aims to equip management educators in the domain of finance and accounting with subject-specific knowledge, research design, emerging empirical issues, and analytical tools to enable them to be better facilitators and researchers. This four day in campus FDP will provide exhaustive learning in areas such as financial management theories, strategic financial management, advanced data analytics, research methodologies, finance case study writing, and teaching. This program will help to feel the void of competent finance faculty with research bent of mind in the management education domain. The primary focus of this FDP will be to upgrade the teaching, training, case writing, and research skills of finance and accounting faculty members. This FDP has been designed to motivate the current and prospective finance and faculty members of management institutes, universities, and colleges to have intense research and teaching orientation in finance education.
