VIVITSA is IIM Indore’s premier sustainability challenge that brings together the brightest minds from across India to tackle critical issues in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) and Waste Management. Designed to inspire interdisciplinary collaboration and drive real-world change, the event is a platform for innovation, policy thinking, and socially responsible leadership.

Organised under the mentorship of Anveshan, the Centre of Excellence at IIM Indore, VIVITSA aligns closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Swachh Bharat Mission. It challenges participants to move “From Ideas to Impact” by engaging in a range of competitions that include policy simulations, data-driven problem-solving, entrepreneurial pitches, and creative awareness campaigns.

With participation from top institutions such as IIM Indore, IIT Indore, SPA Bhopal, among other INIs across the country, VIVITSA fosters a rich exchange of ideas and perspectives. The event stands out for its ability to combine academic rigour with a deep commitment to sustainability, making it a launchpad for innovative solutions and actionable change.
